Toggle clasps are amongst the most popular type of clasp and are made up of two sides, one ring or hooped side and one bar side.
The bar is always a little wider than the diameter of the hoop. To close it just turn the bar so it's perpendicular to the hoop and thread it through. The clasp is secure once you turn the bar parallel to the ring so it can't pass back through.
