Polished beads can be expensive however a great alternative, fire polished beads, are available at the Bead Workshop.
Fire polished beads are a form of pressed glass beads. They are moulded or cut beads, which have then been heated at extremely high temperatures to give very clean, glossy surfaces.
This additional treatment melts the visible seams and rough spots on the outside of the beads and softens the facet edges. Our Czech fire polished beads come in a wide range of colours from 3mm to 10mm in size. |
